The crude product was purified by column chromatography (230-400 mesh silica gel and 10- 30% EtOAc in hexane) to obtain 3-cyclopropyl-8-methoxyimidazo[ 1 ,2-a]pyrazine (1 .0g, 91%). ?H NMR (300 MHz,CDC13): oe 7.79 (d, J= 4.8 Hz, 1H), 7.41 (d, J= 4.8 Hz, 1H), 7.33 (s, 1H),4.13 (s, 3H),1.84 – 1.83 (m, 1H), 1.07 – 1.02(m, 2H) 0.77 – 0.73(m,2H); LC-MS: 190.3 [M+H].
