The resulting solution was extracted with ethyl acetate and the organic layers were combined and concentrated under vacuum. Purification by flash chromatography (silica gel column with ethyl acetate: petroleum ether (1:5)) provided 7.3 g (88%) of 1-1 as a white solid.
