The filtrate was concentrated and dried to afford 2-chloro-5- isothiocyanatopyrazine (14.3 g, 83.0 mmol, 83 % yield). ?H NMR (400 MHz, chloroform-cl) 5 ppm 8.38 (d, J=1.26 Hz, 1 H) 8.18 (d, 1=1.26 Hz, 1 H). MS(LC/MS) R.T. = 1.84; [M+H] = 172.09.
