The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (chloroform/methanol=9/1) to give 2-pyrazinemethanol (Compound CD) (19.0 yield: 36%).1H-NMR (270 MHz, CDCl3, delta): 3.11 (brd, J=5.6 Hz, 1H), 4.85 (d, J=5.6 Hz, 1H), 8.52-8.55 (m, 2H), 8.64 (s, 1H).
