The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) and further purified by HPLC (C18, mobile phase: water/acetonitrile (0.1% TFA-containing system)). Fractions containing the object product were collected, neutralized with a saturated aqueous sodium hydrogen carbonate solution, and extracted with ethyl acetate. The obtained organic layer was dried over magnesium sulfate and concentrated to give a residue.
